Ok time to back edit the fishing weekend! Yay for computers!
Well fishing weekend went awesome, and we had lots of people there. Billy Brandt brought his daughter and John Mark (sorry if i misspelled) actually had some time off to come visit. Man o man when Billy and him get together, watch out! In between dragging each other behind snow mobiles and doing flips directly onto the ice, the Brandt brothers entertained us all with thier high spirits and love of life.
We actually fished too, although snow mobiling was more popular amoung the younger crowd ( I recieved a text message from my brother and Trish, threatening me if i got on a scow machine they would amputate an appendage). While the more serious fishers went for "big ones" I used Billy's snoopy pole to get some small game. After my first trophy catch, Scott and I traded the lucky snoopy pole between us. It was Blue Gill city at our shanty, for a total of 3 fishes! And surprisingly enough our meager catch was all anyone pulled out of the water, but we remained in a great mood and all had fun.
While fishing a bunch of us took off on the snow mobiles to scare up some fun on the way to town. I can't say much about that because I remained safely on the ice in my shanty. There was break downs of equipment over the course of the weekend, the most notable when we went for pizza to the Grove and the machine Lisa drove wouldnt start.
There was so much going on that it is hard to get it all down. I finally got to meet Hailey/Haley, billy's daughter and we got to know each other a bit, I wish she lived closer, she is a fun person. Uncle Gilbert brought a friend who brought with him several snow machines so that more people could enjoy the winter sport. Mike was there and he always livens things up at camp with his spunky attitude, and Lisa played Hostess for us since she is living at the farm for now.
The day everyone left for home we had a huge Ice storm and Dad and I stayed at the farm since the vehicles were covered with an inch of ice. We left the next day after watching the race (Daytona 500 I think), and had an uneventfull trip home.
Thanks everyone who came and made the event the better for it. ^^. I hope we can make it a yearly thing.

Plumbing, its not just for men without belts
After throughly looking at the plans for the house and looking at adding plumbing for the new bathroom downstairs, we decided to redo some of the excisting work. So after hundreds of dollars and many labor intensive hours we have eliminated 30 ft of pipe and "upgraded" some existing 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. We still have more to add on, but now its merely a matter of finding the time and some help, not whether or not we can actually do it. We have noted during the pipe laying that some of the air ducts seem in ackward places, so we might have a professional come and tell us about any options we might have to move it or reduce its size. Greg has turned into quite the home improver, I am so proud of all that he has learned since we bought the house! After we nail down the plumbing, so to speak, we can start the framing, but we may gut the bedroom first and prep that room so we can do all the framing at once. I suspect that once we get to that stage things will move at the speed of light ( which is fast by the way, for those non-scientific types).
Funny story, last night I was sleeping and was woke by a strange noise. All the cats were sleeping with me and they woke up to, so we all headed downstairs to investigate and greg was removing pipe at 3 in the morning. lol The cats were so disgusted at him~! I giggled at thier cat like expression of distaste at being woken up. So I went back to bed, but they decided to stay and punish him by meowing and getting in the way. Needless to say he didnt work much longer before giving up and going to bed himself. Working with cats in the way is hard.
